Riscoprire Angelo Mangiarotti

Festa del Legno 2017 | Cantù, September 23th – October 8th

Angelo Mangiarotti was one of the most famous architects of the XX century and he was ambassador, with other important names, of one of the miracles created by our Country: the Italian design.
However only few people know that Mangiarotti had a privileged relationship with Cantù: here in fact unique pieces, prototypes, completed objects as well es entire furnishings for important commissions were created, because here “his” artisans had their seat.
One more time, the aim of the exhibition is to pay homage to the stunning meeting between handcraft & design: the knowledge and the ideas of Angelo Mangiarotti with the skills and the techniques of his collaborators.
