Arredatori Contemporanei

A cura di Guglielmo Ulrich, Gorlich Editore, Milano, 1949

Editorial binding in red and white striped fabric by Fede Cheti, 23x24.5 cm, pages 93

This volume, with a Leonardo Borgese preface, is the only testimony of the exhibition Lo Stile nell’Arredamento Moderno, organized in the winter of 1948 in Milan by Fede Cheti, a creator of furnishing fabrics. Here there are the projects of the most notorious architects of that moment: from Franco Albini to Paolo Buffa, from Pietro Chiesa to Cesare Lacca, Carlo Mollino, Ico Parisi, Gio Ponti, Carlo Enrico Rava, Ettore Sottsass Jr., Guglielmo Ulrich and others. The projects of every architect are introduced by a preparatory sketch and they are also accompanied with many illustrations. In addition there is a section called “Oggetti d’Arte” with potteries, lamps, fabrics, jewels and glasses.
